Accessibility Statement — Infused Restaurant + Bar

Infused Restaurant + Bar is committed to making infusedrestaurant.com accessible to all guests, including those with disabilities. We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our ongoing target.

Our Goal

We aim to provide a website that:

  • Can be navigated using a keyboard alone.
  • Works with common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
  • Provides text alternatives for images and non-text content.
  • Offers sufficient color contrast for readable text.
  • Respects your browser or OS motion preferences.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:

  • Autoplay video: Some pages include cinematic background videos that autoplay muted. We support the prefers-reduced-motion preference — when enabled, animation and autoplay behavior is reduced. We intend to add manual pause controls in a future update.
  • WebGL canvas: The homepage features a three-dimensional animated background powered by WebGL. This element is decorative and marked aria-hidden; it does not convey content. Guests using screen readers or reduced-motion settings will not be impacted by it, but it may not render on older devices.
  • Third-party embeds: The Google Maps embed on our Contact page may have accessibility limitations outside our control. We provide a plain text address and a link to Google Maps as an alternative.
  • PDF menus: If we publish downloadable PDF menus, they may not be fully tagged for screen reader access. Please call us at 856.665.7427 and we are happy to read or describe menu items verbally.

Technical Specifications

This website uses HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript. We rely on standard semantic HTML elements and ARIA attributes where appropriate to support assistive technologies. We test primarily with Chrome/VoiceOver on macOS and Chrome/NVDA on Windows.
