Infused Restaurant + Bar ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at infusedrestaurant.com. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using this site you agree to these practices. If you disagree, please do not use the site.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and certain data automatically:
- Reservations: Name, email address, phone number, party size, date, time, occasion, and special requests when you book a table online.
- Contact & event inquiries: Name, email, phone, subject, and message when you submit our contact or event-inquiry form.
- Newsletter & marketing: Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter. Subscription is optional and marketing-only.
- AI concierge chat: Messages you send to our AI chat assistant. A session identifier is stored in your browser's localStorage to maintain conversation context within a single session. We do not link chat sessions to your identity unless you provide personal information in the conversation.
- Manage-reservation links: A secure unique token included in your confirmation email. Anyone with that link may view or cancel the reservation.
- Online orders (when shop is live): Name, email, phone, and order details for in-person pickup. Payment is processed by Stripe and we do not store full payment card numbers.
- Automatic data: Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use this only for security and analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To confirm and manage your reservation or order, and to communicate about it.
- To respond to contact and event-inquiry messages.
- To send marketing emails to newsletter subscribers (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To power our AI concierge chat (messages are processed by OpenAI's API; see Third-Party Processors below).
- To improve our website and understand how guests use it.
- To protect against fraud and abuse.
3. Third-Party Processors
We use trusted third-party services to operate this site. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Supabase — Database and backend infrastructure (supabase.com).
- Resend — Transactional email delivery, including reservation confirmations (resend.com).
- OpenAI — Powers our AI concierge chat. Chat messages you send are transmitted to OpenAI's API for processing (openai.com/privacy).
- Stripe — Payment processing when our online shop is active. Stripe handles card data and we do not receive or store full card numbers (stripe.com/privacy).
- Google Maps — An embedded map on our Contact page. Google may collect data as described in Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. localStorage
We use your browser's localStorage to store:
- An anonymous session ID for the AI chat widget (no personal data, cleared when you clear browser storage).
- Your shopping cart contents, if our shop is active.
No tracking cookies for advertising are set by infusedrestaurant.com. Third-party embeds (Google Maps) may set their own cookies governed by their policies.
5. Marketing Emails & Opt-In
We send marketing emails (event invitations, specials, menu updates) only to guests who have opted in via our newsletter form. Each email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also unsubscribe at unsubscribe.html or by emailing info@infusedrestaurant.com.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@infusedrestaurant.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Deletion requests are honored subject to any legal retention obligations (e.g., financial records).
7. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately at info@infusedrestaurant.com.
8. Data Retention
We retain reservation and contact records for a reasonable period to support our operations and comply with applicable law, then delete or anonymize them. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
